What a week that was! We have been visiting the Trade Show at Birmingham N.E.C - so much to see - so little time to see it in!
LOTS, LOTS, LOTS of fantastic products - unfortunately we have to wait for their arrival from the great USA so it will probably be end of March before the bulk of our orders arrive - but hey - it will soooo be worth the wait. Papers, stamps, you name it we've got it coming.

There was time this week to make a few cards - thought this was a quick and easy one which if you changed the colour ways, would fit any recipient! A great stamp from Hero Arts!

Ollie has his final injection tomorrow so the world will be his oyster! - look out world! Many thanks to all of you who have booked classes and workshops - look forward to seeing you all!!
Have a great weekend!

Good News - the 2 and a half inch Scallop circle punch is NOW IN!

Happy Valentines Day to you and all!!

Thursday, February 12, 2009

If people ask what's my favourite crafting item of the moment - it has to be the Big XL Scallop Card die from Ellison.
The ability to make a card from any colour cardstock with a decorative edge is second to none!
I made these two cards late last night in less than 20 minutes ready for the post today - Oh, and all the while I had a sleeping dog at my feet!
We will have fresh supplies of the Big XL die at The Studio within the next two weeks!

We have all been busy at The Studio designing and preparing cards for both the Magazine and the upcoming classes and workshops!
As usual, The Studio has been in a state of chaos and customers have had to negotiate their way around the boxes of new stock which has been arriving daily! But hey - you can't be creative and tidy!!

Our first blog...

...nothing to do with cards - but all to do with 3kg of huggle buggle on legs!
Our brand new addition to The Card Studio - 10 week old Ollie, a brown and white Cocker Spaniel with eyes that just melt your heart!
